Wisconsin Grassroots Network brings progressive-minded citizens, activists, and organizations together to keep our democracy alive and strong. Working as an all-volunteer organization, we strive to educate, entertain, and energize our allies in the political struggle for a healthy, fair, and equitable society.

The 17th annual WGN Grassroots Festival will be on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026 at Central Heights Middle School, Sun Prairie WI from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

There will be keynote speakers including John Nichols, 15 breakout sessions including a data center panel, lunch, tablers, and The Raging Grannies of Madison.

Benjamin Franklin challenged us to keep our republic, and nothing is more critical to that task than the grassroots. We are the guardrails now! As  our government intensifies its blatant assaults on our freedoms, we are called upon to do more. No one is coming to save us, but there are activists who can inspire us and strengthen our resolve.  The Grassroots Festival is the place to meet and learn from them and one another.
