What's Next?
NEED INSPIRATION? YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!
Many are asking themselves, "What's next? What do we do now?" WGN's has a few ideas about that. First, don't surrender. Second, find a pro-democracy cause, and get involved. Start small. "Shock and awe" is designed to paralyze you. Don't let that happen.
Inspiration is required. Here's a link to a 13 minute video created in 2015 for a presentation on civic involvement to a high school political science class . Its message of individual courage and determination speaks to us today. It's a message we need to hear.

There's more inspiration in the calendar below. We'll continue to add to it. Check back often.

Dec. 13: Indivisible Dane County WI (IDCW) held its first meeting. There were about 20 attendees, a few of whom had attended the Nov. 30 Pot Luck. This was a group of serious, experienced, and ready-to-begin activists. You can join the Facebook group here. Our able and determined chair is working on a website. Once it's active, it will be linked here.
In the meantime, check out national Indivisible here. Consider joining. They have been "making good trouble" for a long time now. They're very good at it!
Nov. 30: The Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, 42 people from the McFarland WI area came to a Pot Luck gathering entitled What's Next? It was an inspiring evening! Feelings were shared, ideas for action generated, questions were asked, but only occasionally answered, and everyone expressed a need for more. If you have some time, you can read the summary notes here. It's a lot, but you'll likely find common ground and some comfort in knowing you're not alone.
