Iuscely Flores: Creating a Fair Maps Coalition
Fair Maps are needed now more than ever. We must work together to enact an independent redistricting commission for Wisconsin both as law and in the constitution.
Biography:
iuscely is the Organizing Director of the Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition. The missionof the Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition is to ensure representative government for all, by advocating for and enacting (in law and practice) an independent and nonpartisan redistricting process, building a truly fair and accountable judiciary, and securing the rights of the populace to fair and equal access to voting, by educating and engaging the people of Wisconsin.

Don Ferber, Sierra Club WI: Taking Control of our Energy
Climate and the energy we produce and use are critical to our future and having a habitable planet, and is integrally integrated in to so many aspects of our lives. There are a plethora of things we can each act on, with a multitude of opportunities to do so locally, as well as become engaged in community with others and with organizations to work on a larger scale. We need to and can make a difference now.
Biography:
Don is a long time Sierra Club and environmental activist, and am very passionate about nature, energy, climate justice, and exploring, protecting and preserving the planet and having it continuing to be habitable by human beings. He has spent many years organizing people, educating people about climate and energy, and doing outreach and engaging with people and supporting them in taking action. Don is also currently Co-chair of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Sierra Club.

Kai Rasmussen: Act 10 &Project 2025 - Lessons in Resistance
Kai will be drawing on his organizing experience to discuss how Act 10 in Wisconsin laid the groundwork for Project 2025 to be enacted at a Federal level. He will be discussing what lessons about resistance in Wisconsin can be applied to resisting attacks on our democratic and public institutions at every level of government.
Biography:
Kai Rasmussen is a grassroots organizer for Wisconsin Bail Out the People Movement (WIBOPM) in Madison, Wisconsin. He first became political in high school after Act 10 and has been active ever since. Kai has been out in the Wisconsin streets for protests for Black Lives Matter, public education, reproductive justice, Palestine, anti-fascism and many more. He most recently served as communications director for the Madison Area Democratic Socialists of America from 2022-2023 and served on the executive committee of the Wisconsin Coalition for Justice in Palestine from 2023-2024.

Biographies:
Dawn & Art Shegonee Menominee are both national and global art activists and co-founders of the Call For Peace Drum & Dance Company. For over two decades, they have led 26 cultural artists who represent seven cultures, in performances around the world.
Their performance, entitled " Call For Peace' Dancing the Dream, A New Hope for Humanity", incudes an indigenous "Ancient Wisdom Dance" that calls for a future where we create sustainable solutions for our Mother Earth.
